The themes for the past two months were:- Boats and Water. Well boats and water were what we got! Our
members had, it seemed, been around the World. We had pictures from China, Thailand. Sri Lanka, Europe
and South and North America.
This of course started off many conversations about experiences. How did you get there? Why? And
methods of travel? and arrangements? Where to next? So if you think we just discuss photography
you’d be wrong.
Every one contributes to the afternoon exchanging experiences and ideas which enrich our lives. This is
what I think the U3A is all about. Crossing social boundaries and keeping ourselves and minds active.
