Meetings:

Meetings will be at 10am on Tuesdays about once each month, at Sarah Eagles, 5A Osborne Road, Andover until further notice.
The next meeting is Tues 2 Dec 2008 at the above address'.

There are nine members who meet on the first Tuesday of each month. Andover Library provides sets of books, once a month, which we can keep for up to eight weeks. This allows time for individuals to read the books before we meet for discussion.
The authors we have read since October 2007 have been: George Eliot, Anne Bronte, Bill Bryson, Pearl Buck, Daphne Du Maurier, Monica Ali, Linsey Davis and Fanny Flag. The Classics have been our favourites but the Moderns have provoked far from unanimous appreciation. Of course we do not always keep to the point, but we find conversation stimulated by the personalities and happenings in each book. A good time is had by all.
