The first meeting of the Group was held on Wednesday 25 October 2006 at 140 Weyhill Road, Andover, by kind permission of John and Pat Barrell. There were six attendees, two of whom had already started to trace their family history and the remaining four were there as complete novices.

We each gave a short explanation as to why we were at the meeting and what we hoped to achieve. The time passed very quickly and lots of information as to organisations and web sites to contact to gather information was given.

The next meeting of the Group was to be on Wednesday 24 Sept 2008 at 2pm at Judith's 354628.
